General Manager

Presswell's Sandwich Co. is looking for a General Manager to build a team and grow a business from the ground up. Presswell's Conway location will be the flagship store for a new and exciting restaurant concept that is sure to provide a fun, friendly and nostalgically wholesome experience for every guest that enters through our doors.

Job Details

The Role:

As the general manager you will be accountable for the day-to-day operations of your restaurant. This includes but is not limited to:

• Upholding Presswell's Sandwich Co. standards of superior service and hospitality, with a commitment to providing a guest centric experience with every meal served
• Recruit, hire, train, direct, and develop team members using Presswell's training resources
• Direct team members to ensure the execution of accurate and on time dine in and takeout orders
• Uphold food safety, operational and compliance standards
• Ensure the back of house, dining room, and all guest areas are kept clean and welcoming
• Responsible for the financial success of the restaurant through annual sales goals, budgeting, food cost control measures, labor control, and cash flow planning.
• Must work a weekly schedule that includes opening, mid, closing, and weekend shifts. This ensures you provide guidance throughout all operational meal periods.

Who You Are:

The right person for this role has a strong hospitality leadership background and prioritizes both guest and team member experience. The ideal candidate is equal parts people and process-driven with an aptitude for creating efficiencies at all levels of the business.

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• Previous restaurant management experience that includes food safety, team scheduling and management, P&L management, sales forecasting
• A guest first mindset with a passion for providing superior hospitality
• The ability to multi-task and organize competing priorities
• Works collaboratively with others – a true team player
• Strong communication skills
• A level of comfort with the physicality of the role
• Serv Safe Certification 

Must be able to keep up with the physical demands of a fast-paced kitchen environment.  Must be able to lift 50lbs, stand and walk around a restaurant for up to 10 hours a day.
